This is a pleasing example of this well-known group with the added interest that it is dated; giving the rug an age of 113 years old. The rug has an abrashed indigo blue ground covered with the typical rams horn devices and dragons which are usually featured on Perepedil rugs. The rug has multiple borders including two of the classic Kuba chevron design and featuring stars. The rug is in fair original condition with even wear and medium / low pile, the ends and sides are original with very slight losses in places. There are no repairs. The rug is suitable for light domestic use. The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display. Stock Number: h-430.
