This classic Shekarlu has a field full of tribal motifs, including shrubs, flowers, and the Shekarlu comb design. The array of colours is outstanding including yellows, soft blues, reds and greens. The field colour is an unusual soft terracotta red. The border is of typical Shekarlu design. The rug has a soft floppy handle. The carpet is in good condition with even wear and medium/low pile. There are numerous old re-weaves throughout the rug, this is reflected in the price.
