Size: 5ft 11in x 3ft 9in (181 x 115cm).
Circa 1880.
a good example of a Karachov Kazak rug with the traditional compartment design. The rug has 2 large rectangular ivory compartments on a green field with a central red cross motif, the colour combinations make this a visually striking rug. Note the filler elements of combs and amulets. The multiple borders frame the rug well.
The rug is in excellent condition with even wear and medium / low pile.
The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
