Back
a small vintage Buddhist libations cup, Tibet, made in the form of a Kapala, skull cup, three pieces, the cup, a lid, and a triangular base, silver and copper repousse, decorated with skulls, an archaic monster mask, and undulating dragons, it has a lightning bolt finial, on top of a double dorje design, i don't know if a small Kapala like this had a normal religious function, or if it was something made for sale, but the interior of the lid is smudged with soot, and it appears to have been used as an incense burner, if you want to use it the same way, you can protect the interior of the cup by filling it with white sand, it is in general good condition but with some signs of use, it is not new, the finial is slightly askew, the approximate size is 5 inches tall x 4.25 inches wide at the base, #10018, shipping is extra
